Free Musician List uses cookies for storing screen sizes on your computer so that the pages can be formatted to fit your screen, rather than attempting to determine the most popular size and format them for that one size. We hope to make using Free Musician List enjoyable for everyone. We also use cookies in the process of allowing FML Jukebox customers to select songs to be played. We use persistent cookies for displaying the the messages in the chat room. We do not store any other persistent cookies on our server. We do not use cookies to track usage or interest in any pages on our site. We do not associate any user information with cookies.

Email addresses
All users' email addresses are obscured from casual browsing. Email addresses are used in a way to prevent third party software from being able to collect email addresses for the purpose of finding new recipients of unsolicited bulk mail (SPAM). We do not sell, lend, share, or in any way, distribute email addresses. We provide a way for users to contact each other through email without divulging the email addresses to the initiator of the communication. If the recipient does not wish his email address to be discovered, the recipient may refuse to reply. This prevents the initial sender from knowing the email address. We occasionally send special announcements regarding Free Musician List to our users who have listed themselves.

Mailing addresses
Certain accounts, such as Instructors, Advertisers, and FML Jukebox Customers are required to submit a mailing address. This is purely for the purpose of conducting Free Musician List business or for informing people of the address of FML Jukebox Customers so that they will be able to frequent your place of business and use a map provided by Free Musician List to find it. We do not sell, lend, share, or in any way, distribute mailing addresses.

When an Event listing or Open Mic listing is made, the address of the establishment is provided, again, for the purpose of aiding people in finding the establishment and showing their support for your Event or Open Mic. Maps are also provided in this situation.

Phone numbers
Phone numbers are requested for Events, Instructors, Open Mics, and FML Jukebox Customers so that people may call for more information. Advertisers and Instructors may also be required to submit a phone number for the purpose of Free Musician List business. Musician and Band entries may optionally include phone numbers so that other people can get in touch with the band or musician. Phone numbers are not distributed to anyone and are not used internally for any reason other than Free Musician List business. However, anyone can browse through Free Musician List and find your phone number. That is the point. You want people to be able to get in touch with you.
